Nabendu Bhattacharjee is a self taught artiste, having developed a keen interest for visual arts at a young age.
His pursuit of a serious interest into photography brought him in touch with the celebrated bollywood photographer like late Mr. Gautam Rajadhyaksh and cinematographer Mr Madhu Ambat from whom he gained valuable insights into the art of photography.
His subsequent exposure into the world of Motion picture VFX got him the opportunity to explore the newer medium of Digital imagery whereby he got to interact and learn from the leading hollywood technicians like Mr Scott Ross (VFX supervisor: Titanic) and Mr. Uttam kumar (VFX team: Jurassic Park) among other noted professionals.
Obsessed with the interplay of light and shadow and its power of communication, his biggest creative inspiration comes from the works of the great classical masters like Rembrandt, Caravaggio and Raja Ravi Verma.
He enjoys all forms of photography, though his special interest lies in shooting the human subjects.
